In 2011 we made up two Champions over four weeks at four consecutive Championship shows with three Best of Breeds with Ch Egloshayle Black Rosewyn and Ch Egloshayle Sea Lily. This has to count as one of our biggest achievements in the show ring and we believe unequalled in the breed.
Following this we decided to step back from the amount of Championship Shows attended due to the cost and time involved in campaigning dogs from Cornwall. We live at the wrong end of the country! Since then we have selectively shown at this level but continue to compete in local shows and above all enjoy the dogs -as dogs- in our beautiful countryside. They definitely enjoy a walk on the cliffs or moors to the show ring! (To be honest so do we!). At the end of the day they are much loved members of the family and we would never rehome an old dog or dog that was unsuccessful in the show ring. They stay here as housedogs and part of our 'pack' all their lives and consequently this limits the number of dogs we can keep if we are to give them all the attention they deserve.
